NIPSCO ANNOUNCES THE INTRODUCTION OF IT’S ENERGY ACCESS SYSTEM VIA THE INTERNET
MERRILLVILLE — Northern Indiana Public Service Company’s (NIPSCO) Energy Access System (EASy) is now accessible via the Internet. Energy Access Online (EASy Online) is an extension of NIPSCO’s internal gas energy management system and has been designed as a convenient service enhancement for commercial and industrial customers, marketing agents and aggregation marketers participating in the NIPSCO Choice program. Visitors may access the EASy Online site at
"EASy Online has been developed as a tool for our customers to assist them in the efficient and effective management of on-system gas transportation and load management services," said Chris Maturo, manager, energy information systems.
Customer specific information is secured and requires a login and password for
access. Customers desiring access to the secured portions of the site are asked to complete the "New User Registration" form available on the site.

"Additional functionality and service features will be added to EASy Online
throughout 1999. Later this year, we plan to provide our customers with the capability to directly interact with NIPSCO and submit transportation nominations and schedule other load management services online," added Maturo.
