NIPSCO TO CONSOLIDATE WARSAW, GOSHEN OPERATIONS

WARSAW, Ind. – In an effort to make customer service in the central portion of its 32-county service territory more efficient and cost effective, Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) will consolidate its Warsaw and Goshen operations facilities effective

April 1.

NIPSCO does not anticipate any personnel reductions as a result of the consolidation. The Warsaw property, located at 2191 East Ft. Wayne St., will be available for sale in May.

Warsaw-area customers will continue to receive the same around the clock service that they have come to expect from NIPSCO. In addition, NIPSCO payments will continue to be accepted at First Source Bank locations at 120 South Lake St. and 2804 East Center St. in Warsaw.

"NIPSCO remains committed to the Warsaw community," said Julia Van De Water, public affairs representative for Kosciusko County. "Our employees will remain as visible as ever in the area, both on the job and after work hours. NIPSCO and its employees will remain involved in volunteer activities, local organizations and charitable efforts, such as our Gift of Warmth program."

In recent years, NIPSCO has reaffirmed its commitment to the Warsaw community through its various donations to worthwhile civic and economic organizations, such as the Kosciusko Co. YMCA, Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and the Warsaw County Athletic Complex.
