MERRILLVILLE - Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) has made its gas and electric rate information available for the public on its web site at www.nipsco.com. This information should be a great convenience to NIPSCO's customers and others.

"Customers can now access rate information directly to make more informed choices concerning their electric and gas service options," said Peggy Landini, NIPSCO's vice president of commercial operations.

Visitors to the web page may access rate information by selecting "Utility Operations" on the first page, "Northern Indiana Public Service Company" on the second page, and "Electric and Gas Tariffs" on the following page. When visiting NIPSCO's site, web browsers can also access rate adjustment histories, new/updated tariff lists for 1998 and 1999, and pending gas and electric tariffs.
